Learn to do your own makeup with your own kit, your own face, and the techniques of a working makeup artist — not a standard format, but a session tailored to you.
In Geneva, many makeup courses offer a fixed format: 10 people around a trainer, products you don't own, techniques that work on others but not on you. The SoBeauty's Home masterclass takes the opposite approach: you come with your kit (or Soraya supplements if needed), she adapts techniques to your morphology (eye shape, brow position, skin type), and you leave with a protocol you can actually reproduce at home the next morning. Individual, duo or small group format of 3-4 people max.
Three formats to choose from
Makeup Masterclass (2h30) — the signature session. We start from your current routine, identify what works and what can be improved, then build together your "everyday" look + an "occasion" variant. Ideal if you find your current makeup flat, dated, or struggle with a specific step (eyeliner, contouring, smoky).
Skincare Routine Workshop (1h30) — for those who want to first work on the base: cleansing, treatments, application order, texture choices. Often a useful prerequisite to the makeup masterclass.
Bridal Masterclass (2h+) — learn to do your own makeup for your wedding, or to touch up during the day. Format chosen by brides who don't want to depend on a makeup artist on the day, or who are going for a destination wedding far from Geneva.
A transmission approach, not a demo
The difference between a masterclass and a makeup service: here, you hold the brushes. Soraya shows, explains, corrects in real time. You do one half of the face, she does the other — you immediately see the difference, you understand why the gesture works or not, you reproduce with her corrections.
At the end, you leave with a personalized sheet: products used (with your kit), order of steps, points of attention for your morphology. The sheet is printed or sent by email, your choice. Many participants keep it next to their mirror for the first weeks.
Corporate format: Beauty Team Building
For Geneva-based companies (private banks, international organizations, law firms, luxury brands), Soraya offers a 3h Beauty Team Building format: quick presentation of fundamentals, hands-on workshop in small groups, and a friendly exchange moment. Format suited to 6-15 participants, on-site at your premises or at SoBeauty's Home.
Corporate Events format (on quote): beauty activities for seminars, product launches, wellness days. Soraya can also compose a team (makeup artists + estheticians) for larger events — her years of collaboration with Geneva's luxury hotels and brands allow her to quickly align a professional team.
For whom? What level required?
No prior level is required for the Makeup Masterclass or Skincare Workshop. Many participants come to us with very little experience ("I only wear mascara and lipstick") and leave with a complete routine they've mastered. Conversely, makeup enthusiasts come to unlock a specific technique (cut crease, complex contouring, graphic eyeliner) or discover products/brands they didn't know.
The Bridal Masterclass targets brides-to-be who have decided to do their own makeup — ideally plan 2 to 3 sessions over the 3 months before the wedding to truly integrate the gestures.
